Golden Graham Smores Bars

Ingredients:
For the base:

5 cups Golden Grahams cereal
5 cups mini marshmallows
1 1/2 cups milk chocolate chips
1/4 cup unsalted butter

For the topping:

1 1/2 cups milk chocolate chips
3/4 cup creamy peanut butter

Instructions:

Prepare the Base:
Line a 9×13 inch baking pan with parchment paper and set it aside.
In a large mixing bowl, measure out the Golden Grahams cereal and set it aside.
In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Once melted, add the mini marshmallows to the saucepan.
Stir the marshmallows continuously until they are completely melted and smooth. This will take around 3-4 minutes.
Pour the melted marshmallow mixture over the Golden Grahams cereal and quickly stir until the cereal is evenly coated.
Add in 1 1/2 cups of milk chocolate chips and gently fold them into the mixture. The residual heat will start to melt the chocolate slightly, creating a deliciously gooey texture.
Transfer the mixture into the prepared baking pan and press it down firmly and evenly using a spatula or your hands. Ensure the surface is flat and compact. Set aside to cool.

Make the Topping:
In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the remaining 1 1/2 cups of milk chocolate chips and peanut butter.
Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring each time until the mixture is smooth and fully combined. This usually takes around 1-2 minutes, depending on your microwave’s power.
Once the chocolate and peanut butter are melted together, pour the mixture over the cooled Golden Graham base. Spread it evenly using a spatula, covering the entire surface.
Chill and Serve:
Place the pan in the refrigerator for at least 1-2 hours to allow the bars to set completely.
Once set, remove the bars from the pan using the parchment paper overhang and transfer them to a cutting board.
Use a sharp knife to cut the bars into squares or rectangles, depending on your preference.
